What is it?
An all-church community event.
A safe, fun alternative hosted on Halloween, October 31.
A chance to show God’s love to our neighbors and community.
An event where children go trunk-to-trunk, receiving candy from decorated vehicles.
WHEN & WHERE?
Parking lot at Northwest Family Church from 6-8 pm.
HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?
Register on the attached form.
Pick a theme for your vehicle.

Animals Movies
Gather your materials to decorate your trunk.
Dress up to match your vehicle’s theme. PLEASE keep kid-friendly!
Provide several bags of individually wrapped candy.
NIGHT OF EVENT
Have the following ready:
· Chairs, if desired
· Blankets - in case it gets cold
· Lanterns - to see with or to light your vehicle
· Canopy or tarp (in case of rain)
· Bucket, box, or bin for candy
· 6-8 bags of individually wrapped candy
Kid Favorites:
Chocolate, Skittles, Starburst,
Licorice, Sour Patch Kids, etc.
Pre-decorate your trunk.
Pre-purchase your candy.
Arrive at the church by 5 pm to get your vehicle in place.
The church will be open for bathroom use only – foyer.
Greet the kids and parents who arrive and hand out candy from your vehicle. SMILE & have fun!
We highly recommend that an adult pass out the candy vs. kids “diving in”, so the candy supply does not run out.
Your vehicle must be manned at all times.
Please plan on staying until the end of the event at 8 pm.
Prizes will be awarded for:
· Most Creative Trunk
· Best Costume / Theme
I WOULD LIKE TO VOLUNTEER:
serve @ the food & drinks stand
post flyers in community
donate cornstalks, hay bales, pumpkins, fall decor
parking lot traffic & security (6 men)
foyer greeters (4 persons)
set up crew (4:30-6 pm)
tear down & cleanup crew (8-9 pm)
provide a trunk (car, pickup, or van)
